AllChinaBuy Hoodie Finds: A Size, Fabric and QC Comparison Guide
Before keeping a hoodie in your shortlist, record the selected size and compare its measurements with a hoodie you already wear. A model photograph and a size letter cannot tell you how the garment will fit.
This independent guide explains what to record, which photo angles help and how to document unresolved details. It does not certify a seller, authenticate a garment or promise that a product will fit.
Start with a reference hoodie
Choose one that fits the way you want, lay it flat without stretching it and record the measurement method. Use that same method when comparing the seller's chart or QC evidence.
1. Record the exact candidate
Save the source URL, seller or item identifier, check date, selected colour and selected size. Copy the original variant wording rather than translating it into a different size system without evidence.
Keep item price and currency separate from delivery costs. Record whether the listing actually offers the option you want at the time you check it.
Make one row per candidate variant. Different colours or sizes can have different availability and specifications even if they share the same product page.
2. Measure chest width and body length
Record chest width as a flat garment measurement if that is the method you use. Do not compare it directly with a circumference value. Follow the seller's stated measurement points when those are available.
For body length, note the start and end points, including whether the hood or collar is excluded. Different measurement methods can explain an apparent discrepancy.
If the listing does not define a measurement, write Method unclear and seek clarification. Do not label an unknown measurement a fit match.
3. Check shoulders and sleeves together
A dropped shoulder changes where the sleeve begins. Sleeve length alone may not be comparable between a conventional shoulder seam and a dropped-shoulder design.
Record shoulder width, sleeve length and the start point of the sleeve measurement. Compare the cut of the candidate with your reference garment.
Note the cuff style and whether the sleeve is shown flat or stretched. A picture of a person wearing the hoodie can provide context, but it is not a substitute for a readable measurement.
4. Keep fabric claims traceable
Record the composition stated in the listing and whether a readable garment label supports it. Keep brushed lining, loopback lining and other construction descriptions in separate fields when they are shown.
Do not infer a fabric's weight, fibre content or wash performance from a styled photograph. If the seller states a fabric weight, record the number, units and source without presenting it as independently tested.
A missing composition or care label remains an evidence gap. Mark it clearly if it affects your decision.
5. Request useful QC views
A practical photo checklist includes front, back, hood, pocket, cuffs, hem, shoulder seams, size label and composition label. Add close-ups of any detail that is unclear in the available evidence.
For measurements, ask for the tape and both endpoints to be visible in the same view where possible. Check that the garment and variant match your item record.
Keep a factual note for each issue: “left cuff seam unclear” is more actionable than “bad QC”. Record what is visible without using a photo to claim authenticity.
6. Work through a fit example
Illustrative example: your reference hoodie measures 58 cm across the chest and 68 cm in body length. Candidate A lists 60 cm and 70 cm using matching methods. Record +2 cm for each comparison.
Candidate B lists a chest circumference of 120 cm but does not explain the method. Do not automatically treat it as the same measurement as A's flat width; mark the method for review.
These sample figures are not a size recommendation. Fit also depends on cut, fabric and your preference. Use the example to make your comparison explicit.
7. Decide what evidence is still needed
Use Ready to review, Needs measurement, Needs label photo or Not suitable as personal worksheet labels. Add a reason and the date instead of using an unexplained pass/fail score.
If a required field is missing, pause the choice rather than filling it from another listing. If the seller updates the chart or you receive new photos, keep the old observation and record the new one.
Decisions about returns or changes depend on the actual provider terms and your order status. Verify those terms in your account before acting.
8. Keep the shortlist focused
Compare hoodies intended for the same use and desired fit. A lightweight layering piece and a heavily lined garment may solve different needs even when they have similar measurements.
Keep the selected option and, if useful, one backup with the same required features. Record item cost, unresolved charges and the evidence gaps independently.
Reopen the source before ordering. Do not assume that a saved price, option or availability remains current.
AllChinaBuy hoodie questions
Is my usual size enough?
No. Compare garment measurements, the cut and the measurement method with a reference that fits you.
Can a photograph confirm cotton content?
No. Record the seller's claim and any readable composition label separately; a styled image is not a material test.
Which QC image should I ask for first?
Ask for the evidence that resolves your specific uncertainty, such as a clear size label or a full tape measurement with visible endpoints.
Where can I browse hoodie links?
The Hoodies/Sweaters category opens SpreadsheetCKJ. Check the original listing before adding a candidate to your record.

Hoodie measurement source notes
Method reviewed 1 October 2026. Keep the seller chart, readable garment label and photos of your own selected variant as separate evidence. A warehouse image does not prove fibre content, authenticity or wash performance.
Compare centimetres and inches without changing the method
NIST defines one inch as exactly 25.4 millimetres. Convert cm to inches by dividing by 2.54. In the illustrative example above, 58 cm is about 22.83 inches and 60 cm about 23.62 inches. Conversion does not turn a flat chest width into circumference or resolve an unclear tape endpoint. Retain the original value before rounding.
Keep regional size labels traceable
For US and UK readers, keep the seller size letter and both cm/inch values; do not relabel an unsupported size as US or UK. In German, record Brustweite; Danish, brystbredde; Italian, larghezza del torace; and French, largeur de poitrine, with the original measurement definition. These are flat chest-width field labels, not equivalent national size charts. Canadian readers should retain the unit and original size notation too.
Current source boundary
Our 1 October check of the official AllChinaBuy site showed a maintenance notice; its former English purchasing-guide URL did not return a usable guide. That observation does not establish every order status. Verify current options in your account. Use the measurement steps above and keep missing evidence marked Unknown.
